On the beach you can hire equipment and receive qualified training for a number of water based activities. There are several surf retailers who can provide the kit you need, whatever your ability.

In the village in addition to a range of shops, there are amusement arcades and family activities for all ages. There are also Pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and coffee shops as well as more specialised food outlets offering for example pancakes or tapas.

Around the village and along the coast there is ample opportunity for exploring, walking and picnics with the spectacular south west coast path which takes the visitor through the National Trusts beautiful Morte estate.
