The Fishing Kayak
Proactive fishing. If the fish won't come to you, get a Fishing Kayak and go to them. Use a two-man Kayak and take a friend! These larger kayaks have watertight storage space for rods, equipment and even an echo sounder to find the shoals. Catch your supper, beach the kayak and break out your portable barbecue (not supplied - sorry!) to finish off a perfect day.
Great for everyone, not so good if you are a fish.
Stand Up Paddleboards
Stand Up Paddleboards (or SUP's) are probably one of the coolest ways to enjoy the surf. Graceful, elegant and still great even if the surf is tiny. Wait for a wave in a slight swell and the folks on the beach will truly believe that you can stand on water.
